Pillow Partners Kicks Off at Old Trafford for the National Landlord Investment Show in Manchester
This week, Pillow Partners had the pleasure of travelling to vibrant Manchester for the National Landlord Investment Show, hosted at the iconic Old Trafford Stadium. Our team had the fantastic opportunity to connect with numerous influential property investors from across Northern England, discussing the latest trends in serviced accommodation, short-term lets, and property management.
A Stay at Hotel Football – A Winning Experience
Our stay at Hotel Football, located just across the road from Old Trafford, was a real highlight. The hotel truly understands how to make guests feel special, with thoughtful touches like complimentary mini-fridges stocked with sweet treats and fizzy drinks. The unique football-themed toiletries – shaped like kits, complete with famous Manchester United jersey numbers – were a playful nod to the local culture.
Connecting with Investors and Landlords
At the event, Pillow was lucky to have our stand near the entrance! Which provided us to have plenty of foot traffic and allowing us to engage with many visitors. Our team, including two of our experienced property managers, Danielle from Manchester and Liz from Lancashire, was on hand to offer valuable insights on short-term let management and franchise property investments.
Opportunities for Landlords in Manchester
In the afternoon, Scott, our founder, delivered an inspiring talk highlighting the unique opportunities Pillow offers to landlords and property investors. He discussed our exciting franchise opportunities, which allow investors to tap into the booming serviced accommodation market. Scott also shared stories of the positive impact made by Safe Havens, Pillow’s charitable initiative that supports local communities in areas where our franchises operate.
How Changes in Government May Impact Landlords
To wrap up the day, Scott participated in a panel discussion with leading UK property experts, addressing the potential effects of the Labour Party’s policies on landlords and property investments in Northern England. The conversation covered key topics such as new regulations affecting short-term lets, property tax changes, and the future of the airbnb rental market.
What’s Next for Pillow Partners?
Next up for Pillow Partners is Birmingham and London, where Scott will be sharing more market insights affecting the serviced accommodation sector.
